A Tailor-Made Fly-Drive Holiday to The Deep South, USA
Start this fly drive in ‘The Big Easy’, New Orleans, still vibrant and colourful, with the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. Follow the Mississippi through Baton Rouge and Plantation Country with its great homes to Natchez the setting for the Lady Killers remake. Take the Natchez Trace Parkway past Jackson and on to Greenwood in The Delta with fertile cotton fields and the birthplace of the blues. North to Memphis along Highway 61 and more rhythm. Heading east across Tennessee the scenery changes as does the musical heritage through rockabilly to country in Nashville, also the back-drop to the film The Matrix. From Nashville south to Chattanooga with more musical connotations, celebrating its railroad heritage, and also wonderful mountain scenery. Finally drive south to the Olympic city of Atlanta.
